This page explains how to request deletion of your xG Stat account and the data associated with it. It applies to the xG Stat app on Google Play and to the xG Stat website, both operated by xG Stat (KvK 98415018, the Netherlands).
How to delete your account
- Open the xG Stat app, or go to www.xgstat.com, and sign in.
- Go to Account → Profile (www.xgstat.com/account/profile).
- Scroll to Delete Account and press the Delete Account button.
- Confirm in the dialog. We email a confirmation link to the address on the account.
- Click the link in that email. Your account is deleted immediately and any active subscription is cancelled.
If you cannot sign in, email support@xgstat.com from the address on the account and we will action the deletion for you, normally within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and profile data: email address, name, profile image and user ID.
- Your linked Google or Apple sign-in connection, and all active sessions.
- Your in-app preferences and personalisation, including your followed club and notification settings.
- Your subscription record. Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion.
What we keep, and for how long
- Billing and invoice records: retained for up to 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. These are held by us and by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not used for any other purpose.
- Analytics events (only if you consented to analytics): retained in de-identified form for no longer than 24 months. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time from the cookie settings on our website.
- Server and security logs: retained short-term (typically up to 90 days) for debugging and abuse prevention, then deleted automatically.
- Football and match data: not personal data, and unaffected by account deletion.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to have specific data removed. Email support@xgstat.com describing what you want erased and we will handle it, normally within 30 days. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time from the cookie settings, which stops further analytics collection.
